In order to become a customer with BankID, you need a Norwegian passport. If you do not have a norwegian social security number, you can become a customer here.
At the time there is up to two weeks processing time to open an account. Once you have submitted the form we will start proceccing your application. We will contact you when it is time to come by the bank to sign the agreements.
We will send you an SMS when you can come by the bank to sign the agreements. Please remember to bring your passport and employment contract.
Please consider this
If you are a sesonal worker (intend to stay for nine months or less), we strongly recommend that you consider using an excisting account in your bank back home to receive your salary. Most employers can transfer salary to accounts abroad. In most cases this will be cheaper and less time consuming.

Usually not. Most employeers can easily transfer salary to banks abroad. In many cases that will be the easiest and cheapest solution.
If you do not have the Norwegian electronic ID, BankID (requires Norwegian passport), you become a customer by filling in this form. Please note that we will contact you when the agreement is ready to be signed. This could take up to four weeks.
The account will be open for a maximum of nine months. If you change your plans and want to stay for a longer period of time, it is important that you contact us so we can trasfer you to a different type of account and card. Please see our price list for the current fee for opening an account.
Before heading home you should transfer the money in your account to an account in your bank back home. You must do this via our internet banking service or mobile app. Please notify us when you wish to cancel your account.
The agreements are in Norwegian or English. You must be able to understand the terms in order to become our customer. We only open seasonal accounts for employees of our own comercial customers.
