In the extraordinary meeting on 22 February 2024, the Supervisory Board of SpareBank 1 Østlandet has approved the merger of SpareBank 1 Østlandet and Totens Sparebank.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the board’s management of the bank
  • Adopt the group’s annual accounts
  • Authorise the board to raise subordinated debt
  • Authorise the board to raise capital
  • Elect members to the bank’s Board of Directors
  • Elect the chair and deputy chair of the Supervisory Board
  • Elect members to the bank’s Electoral Committee
  • Confirm payments for named bodies

The Supervisory Board is made up of 40 individuals elected as follows: 

  • 14 customers (depositors)
  • 4 publically elected officials (Inland County Council)
  • 12 equity certificate representatives
  • 10 bank employees
